PREAMBLE

These rules may be mentioned as the Manual pertaining to the Assessment of the Health problems arising from the use of Hazardous Chemical substances in the Workplace: Second Edition (hereinafter referred to as " the Manual”). The purpose of this kind of Manual is usually to provide insight into assessors to conduct an assessment in the health risks as a result of the use, handling, storage or perhaps transportation of chemicals harmful to well being at the workplace as required by the Occupational Safety and Health (Use and Standard of Direct exposure of Chemicals Hazardous to Health) Control 2000 [P. U. (A) 131]. This is the modified edition with the 1996 manual.
